What kind of therapy do you offer?
We provide teletherapy for individuals who reside in Texas. Our services focus on supporting clients with anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship issues, self-esteem, and overall emotional well-being. All sessions are conducted virtually, allowing clients to  receive care from the comfort of their own space.

 

What is teletherapy and how does it work?
Teletherapy is the delivery of mental health services using technology such as video or audio. We conduct sessions through a HIPAA-compliant platform designed to safeguard your privacy and confidentiality. While no form of technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, we take appropriate steps to minimize risk and ensure a safe and private experience for our sessions.

 

What do I need for teletherapy sessions?
To participate in teletherapy, you will need a reliable internet connection, a smartphone, tablet, or computer with a working camera and microphone, and a private, quiet space where you feel comfortable talking openly.

 

Is teletherapy effective?
Yes, teletherapy is backed by research showing it can be just as effective as in-person therapy for many mental health concerns. However, it’s important to remember that, as with any form of therapy, no specific outcome or level of effectiveness can be guaranteed. Clients often feel more at ease in their own environment and appreciate the increased accessibility, especially when managing busy work and family schedules. Teletherapy allows for consistency, flexibility, and high-quality care from anywhere in Texas.

 

What therapeutic approach should I expect?
We utilize an integrated approach in therapy, meaning the therapist combines techniques and strategies from different therapeutic  models to best meet your unique needs. Do you accept insurance?
We do not accept insurance and are considered a private pay provider. This means we do not bill or work directly with insurance     companies. However, we can provide a superbill (an itemized receipt) upon request, which you may submit to your insurance provider for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Many clients appreciate the privacy and flexibility that private pay allows, as it keeps your mental health records confidential and free from insurance restrictions, such as required diagnoses or session limits.

 

What are your session fees?
While therapy is an investment, we aim to keep our fees fair and accessible to our clients. Our therapy rates are thoughtfully set to     reflect the quality of care we provide while also allowing us to remain competitive. Do you offer sliding scale rates?
Sliding scale is a flexible payment option where therapy fees are adjusted based on a client’s income and/or financial situation. We offer a limited number of sliding scale appointments based on financial need. Please feel free to ask about availability during your initial   consultation if applicable.

 

How do I schedule a session?
